Friendly staff, decent prices, good portion sizes. Food is freshly made and tasty. My basil eggplant was quite heavy on the soy but I'm salt sensitive. Others enjoyed their pad Thai and other dishes and came back a few nights later.
MoreYou'll be positively surprised by an authentic taste, generous portions and moderate prices. 10 bucks for 10 pieces honey walnut shrimp, two scoops of rice and Coleslaw with pineapple. Usually there's a nice live music played just by a cafe. Service could have been friendlier, though.
MoreHole in the wall joint for great thai or chinese. Portions arent too big but i get the tom yum soup with rice and it fills me up.
MorePure Love! my husband and I went to Kauai for our Honeymoon this past week, and stumbled upon Lotus Garden, ended up eating here 3 times. The Pineapple shrimp is purely amazing, My husband loved the drunken noodles and the Thai curry. Portion sizes are quit large, enough for 2 meals, which was great, and the people are very nice. We would walk to the bar next to it, get a few drinks, then walk over to get food to go and walk back to our hotel room. Try this place out!
MoreYum! This is the only restaurant we ate at twice during our one-week stay in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii. The honey walnut shrimp is fantastic and the Tom Kai (coconut) soup with shrimp is not on the menu, but they made it for our request and it was the BEST we've ever tasted - and we order this soup everywhere we go. The service was also excellent, quick, and friendly.
MoreFast food restaurants in and out with your food
Good food is harder to find on the North shore of Kauai, as it is more remote. So we were happy to find this small restaurant and were happier still to be served a tasty meal. We took our meals home, though there is outside seating available. I ordered the Shrimp Red Curry with Hawaiian shrimp freshly caught from the Thai menu. My travel companion ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp from the Chinese menu. We also split an order of spring roll. The red curry was different than I've had from most other locations. While the flavor was familiar, it had different veggies which threw me off a bit. The spice was perfect and the fresh shrimp were amazing. A quick, inexpensive place to eat that served quality food with a smile. I can recommend wholeheartedly.
MoreThe food was less than decent, and costed so much more than it was worth. I would recommend finding ANY other place than it like the ones right next door. The food I ordered had costed $60 and how much I got is in the picture. The plates are different because I changed the plates.
MoreThis is only my opinion..Highly disappointed.. We had the tofu and veg.. As well as veg fried rice. I'm vegetarian.Better food at Panda Express.. Plus there's a Subway nearby.. Boy I wish I had stopped there.
MoreThe food was flavorless. On the plus side I was constipated before eating here, it seemed to do the trick.
MoreThe menu is written on a marker board up front so we tried the drunken noodles and Thai basil stir fry. Both were quite tasty but was definitely a little on the spending side for what you got. Definitely satisfied my cravings though and super convenient.
MoreDelicious, fast and fresh, highly recommend this place for a quick snack
I had the Pad Thai and it was barely ok. I was starving so I ate it all. There were other dishes that looked like they might be better. My wife liked the bok Choi. Also if eating at night it might be too cool to sit outside in shared seating area, as there is no inside seating.
MoreMy husband was especially turned off by this restaurant. The stir-fry he got consisted of mainly celery (no kidding -- he pulled out all the celery and it made up half the dish), which we assumed was just the cheapest filler they could legally put in the dish, even if it happens to make the dish rather boring. Wouldn't eat here again.
MorePepper salt spicy shrimp! Oh, so good
Excellent service for a good value.
I had very good kung pao chicken and my partner's pad thai was merely adequate. Just be aware - and I'm not sure why this isn't on other reviews or the restaurant's description- that this is a takeout place and not a restaurant with table service. They'll bring your food to uncomfortable, dirty outdoor seating, though.
MoreGood reasonably priced takeout or eat on there patio.
Nice service. Had the walnut shrimp, it was peculiar. My son had the noodles, it was ok.
MoreThe ‘honey orange chicken’ was ok (7/10), but the ‘green curry with chicken’ was very watery (5/10). Based on the reviews we read, we expected a little bit more than this.
MoreNot super flavorful. Fine enough though and really kind service!
The food was fresh and thai iced teas not too sweet, perfect portions with an appetizer, we were full and satisfied. Don't feed the chickens, please, they become aggressive and people do feed them, so please just dont, they end up jumping on tables and chairs and possibly your head! It's sweet but irritating when your trying to eat... Tip well, these folks work really hard!
MoreBest Food & Friendliest service you'll find all over the island! I've been ordering here for years several times a week. It gets better and better!
MoreStayed in Princeville and this is one of the few restaurants open late! Staff is super friendly and helpful and food is AWESOME! Can’t go wrong with spicy salt and pepper shrimp or the drunken noodles!
MoreWish I had taken other bad reviews seriously! Worst food I ever had, not just the worst thai food, literally the worst food! Full of salt and lack of flavors is all I can say! Do not waste money!
MoreFriendly fast service. You can eat in or take out. Personally I like to call my order in ahead of time. Then take a seat in the courtyard and enjoy live music in a comfortable casual environment. Good food served on to go paper containers and plastic utensils. If you can't get past being served with plastic and paper. Then most likely you won't enjoy a casual evening with live music and people enjoying themselves.
MoreWe had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Our family had the drunken noodles with chicken. Drunken noodles with seafood. Honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken. Everything tasted great. It was reasonably priced as well.
MoreSuper friendly staff and food was cooked and ready before my wife could take the kids to the bathroom and back. Had the spicy garlic seabass and it was without a doubt in the top ten things I've ate in my life. My wife had the drunken noodles and loved it as well. Dumplings we had were very good. Lots of food with the order and reasonable prices. I'll be eating here again before we leave the island for sure.
MoreAn easy choice for a fast dinner with good soul and aloha.
The Chicken Pad Thai was amazing! I also tried the Boba Green Thai and it was really good. I highly recommend this place.
MoreGreat food. Quick and no fuss. Recommend the spicy pineapple seafood fried rice!
MoreNot bad, but not good enough to recommend. Can be a choice if you like Thai food.
MoreThe food is average. We ordered a Yellow curry and the potatos were not completely cook. In adittion, we ate another plate that is supposed to have chicken, but it has two or three small pieces of it. We do not recommend this restaurant.
MoreBeing from Asia, got to say the food was extremely bland. Whoever said the pad Thai was good clearly has no standards whatsoever. Combination of ketchup and noodles. Disgusting
MoreBy far the best Thai food on the island. If you are in Princeville make sure you stop by, and if you are vegetarian, look no further their tofu Pad Thai is delicious!
MoreBeware of the prices and tip they add.We did take away order.-They charged us 5% tip without saying anything on our credit card.I didn’t tip them originally since I wanted to with cash. -I wondered why our order was so expensive. They gave me two large soups when I wanted two smaller ones. - Also charged us 2$ more than what’s advertised on the menu. I asked for the bill because I knew something was wrong but I didn’t want to say anything since I didn’t want them to lose business in case they had children to feed at home. It bothered me when I went home so I decided to write this review and not let anyone be fooled by them again.Green curry is 9.95 on the menu not 11.95And tip was never added by me.
MoreAbout the worst pseudo-Chinese food I've ever tasted. And she charged me $15 for 5 pieces of shrimp and a few canned vegetables. Eat anywhere but here.
MoreBest fried rice I've ever had.
Great little take out Asian spot the young lady at the counter always remembers what we want and each time it is just a peferct lunch !!
MoreGreat Kauai shrimp dishes. Not cheap but fresh and delicious. Ask for the garlic ginger steamed Kauai shrimps or fish with rice. Not on the menu. But awesome! Saw Many Repeat customers
MoreThe Thai curry Mahi was delicious (panang curry was my choice). Their orange chicken was definitely an option that would please most people. Quick service, friendly staff, and a great experience. Thanks!
MorePad Thai was flavored with ketchup. Terrible. Returned it (first time). To their credit, they gave us a different dish, thus the two stars.
MoreTasty food for a good price!
Okay lunch for me...being vegan I was limited to just one or two at best items on the menu. I ended up ordering this grilled taro that was supposed to be in a sandwich type deal... But I asked for it to be as a side with rice .. was pretty bland for 16.00 I didn't think it was worth the $
MoreIncredible flavors and wonderful people 🔥🌶
A small establishment located inside Princeville Center. I had the Thai fried rice with pineapple. It was pretty flavorful. Others in my party didn't really like their food, but I did. The staff is friendly. Seating is outside in the common area. It's a good stop for a quick meal.
MoreGreat food, had a live band too. The pork and the shrimp was great.
The pad thai didn’t even taste like pad thai. The shrimp was fried, but didn’t say it would be and was over cooked. Both dishes were $18, which to me is kind of expensive for Thai in general, but for this it felt like a rip off
